This is probably the best dip I've ever tasted! I made it for the first time when I had family over on Xmas eve, and the 5 of us ate the entire crock and didn't have room for dinner!

I made it again for a New Year's potluck, and people went crazy. They were scraping the cold leftovers out of the dish 4 hours later! One of my friends actually said, "this dip is so amazing, it makes me angry".

...my family with this recipe. I had high hopes because of the great reviews. This dip was terrible. The flavor was nothing special and it was so rich that I got a stomache ache from it. Ended up tossing most of the dish since my sister-in-law MADE me take it home.

Please be warned that once you make this dip you will be asked over and over to make it. I changeed the recipe some what. I used shallots instead of green onions and did not put the nuts on top. I increased the amount of swiss cheese by 2 cups. I have made this recipe every year at the holidays and my guests look more forward to the dip than the whole holiday meal!

Easy, quick and tastes fantastic. I made last year for Christmas and received rave reviews. Wherever I take it people love it.

Great dip you can throw together on the fly with stuff you always have on hand. Great way to get rid of that leftover swiss cheese. I didn't add the nuts. It was tasty and it was all gone.
