    Tastes a lot like mom's, but it lacks a certain southern quality that I can't describe....(eleven herbs and spices? :-

    I am English and getting married to a great Southern gentleman, and most girls learn all their recipes from momma, so I am at a disadvantage. No Southern girl should not be able to cook fried chicken. I followed this recipe and my fiance was absolutely delighted. He has a very delicate palate, so a compliment from his is praise indeed. Well done and thank you.
