Sorry, Paula! Next to no flavor! Reduced the oven heat to 425 degrees as suggested by another reviewer, and the bottom and peanuts still burned. That could be tweeked, but the complete lack of flavor, would have to be a completely different recipe!

This recipe is like - Cook some beef, then follow the recipe below.
What do you do to "partially cook" a sweet potato - look up someone else's recipe? This is the thing that keeps me from ever getting to like this YALL play it up for us, Paula. About as genuine as Krab crab. To answer my own question? I had to read the reviews.

I used four yams and these were quite a hit at Easter. I boiled the yams for 10 minutes, rinsed them with cool water and then peeled off the skins. I sliced them into 1/4 inch slices, coated with butter and topped with honey roasted peanuts. Some of the peanuts got a little black, I may reduce the oven to 425 degrees next time. After 15 minutes in the oven they were cooked to perfection and everybody loved them, even the kids. I will cook this again for my family!

Yum yum yum. These chips were great! I did as viewers suggested and parboiled the sweet potato for 10 minutes. Then I peeled it, cut it into the 1/4 inch slices, dipped them in butter and baked for 20 minutes. I didn't have any honey-roasted peanuts so, after they came out of the oven, I sprinkled on Emeril's cinnamon mixture:
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon, 1 tsp. very finely grated orange zest, 1 tsp. sugar, 1/8 tsp. grated nutmeg and 1/8 tsp. ground ginger. The chips were crispy and flavorful. I will definitely be making them again! Thanks Paula and thanks Emeril!

These tasted good but on the show you took a bite and it looked like they had been peeled. I did not peel and the skins were inedible.

Very Good! I didn't add the peanuts at all, and I made some fabulous sweet potato chips!
