Well, I looked up a recipe specially made by Paula and I thought this Lady and Sons Lasagna would be out of this world. I wanted to make dinner for my husband and I on Valentines and I thought this would be the perfect idea. Everything was going great until I mixed in the house seasoning. I have never made lasagna before so this was new. I really don't think it is normal to put a cup of salt in anything. Everything turned out too salty in the end and we couldn't even eat the cheese on top--it was too salty. We made spaghetti instead and put the lasagna down the garbage disposal :( I was disappointed that my dinner didn't work out.

Very easy and oh so good. I made a run to the store to get my cheeses...I swear I bought swiss, but I couldn't find it in my bag. Anyway, the lasagna was still outstanding without it! I also didn't have the time to make the sauce, so I used my favorite jar brand. Again, yummmo! Thank you so much, Paula.

I love lasagna and have tried many recipes, but this one is the only one I will use from now on. It has so much flavor and is absolutely delicious. I made a double recipe of this for a family gathering of 14 people and they just kept coming back for more. Thanks Paula!!!

I made this lasagna last night for supper and my family said it was the best one that I have made. We had some left over and my son invited 2 of his friends to finish it off. His friends loved it!! One of them even told me that it was better than his mothers. My son even told me that his friend was still talking about the next day in school. So, kudos Paula...AWESOME!!!

I've always preferred lasagna's with cottage cheese over ricotta..much more moist. This one has SIX CHEESES. Between the sauce, the noodles and the layering, it took quite a while to make, but it was well worth the effort. I'm embarrased to say that between me and my husband, we finished off the entire pan in three days. And we NEVER usually like leftovers. Yum.

    Some notes:
    1. I typically like a creamier lasagna sauce. I added a can of tomato soup to the sauce and it did the trick.
    2. I don't like peppers so we doubled the onions.
    3. I used 1 lbs beef and 1 lbs Italian sausage. The caraway seed in the sausage gave it a little extra kick.

If you like lasagna, you MUST try this recipe. This will be our only recipe for lasagna from now on.
