Generic and unrefined? NO. If you don't want to use a Tbsp of Kosher salt then start off with 2 tsp. I've made this recipe numerous times and love the results. If it sits a few days, it's even better. Roll it thin and you'll get a crisp, thin crust pizza that's so very good.

Recipe is just ok - the measurements are generic and unrefined. In particular the amount of salt is waaaay to much. This is a good starting point, but I had to experiment a few times. After four experiments I honed in on the following changes: 1 cup plus 2 tbl of water; 1 tsp kosher salt (not 1 tbl! and also reduced the sugar and yeast to 1 1/2 tsp each, and specified the olive oil at 1 tbl. At the very least, don't use as much salt as this recipe specifies.

I'm not going to look for other pizza dough recipes. This is by far the best one!

Great pizza dough. The first time I missed adding the oil to the recipe, I just oiled the bowl. What a difference it makes when you read the recipe carefully *gasp*! We only have all purpose flour available locally, but it has worked great, just add a little less that it calls for or increase the water. I usually double the recipe and freeze any leftover dough. Love this dough! I cook it outside and use two pizza stones placed on our gas grill at 450 degrees. YUM!

Very good but a little too crusty for us. My pizzas were done in 10 mintues too so watch them.

THis is the best pizza dough to make! It tastes great, easy to use, holds its shape and allows for all sorts of toppings! Excellent!

I've been making pizza at home for years. This recipe is THE BEST THIN AND CRISPY PIZZA DOUGH, I've found so far. Works great, rolls out well, holds shape and supports toppings.
