These are so delicious! I love the vinegary taste of the banana peppers with the fresh cubanelles and red pepper.

The first time I made this, I almost left the sausages whole, but I continued to follow the recipe to the letter. I am so glad I did; cutting the sausages is key. You have "the perfect bite" every time. And you MUST do the oil thing with the bread. Rachel has it covered, so don't skip a single step. It's a great recipe that even my bf compares to how his "nona" used to make; great compliment coming from someone Italian!

Fantastic!! I had to use chopped cherry peppers since I couldn't get any whole with liquid at the store, and I liked the results of using them. Also, forgot a red bell pepper, but had 6 cubanelles so it didn't matter. Sent leftovers to work with hubby to eat over leftover cooked spaghetti noodles and he loved it that way too! A keeper!! Thanks Rachael!!
