I did it two years ago and it was delicious!!!!!!! I tried again last year but I forgot if she had said to take out the top coat of the ham or leave it in? I left it in and it took for ever to cook through the way I wanted it.

    Any suggestions on this anyone?

Love it! So nice to see an old-fashioned Southern recipe similar to what my Grandma used to make. The only difference is that Grandma also spiked her hams with cloves and didn't always use the pineapple.

This is an excellent and easy ham recipe... tender & juicy!!! Our son requests it often. While the ham rests for a few minutes, we reduce the cola/ham juices for the gravy junkie (hubby! in the family... YUMMY!!! Of course, once the juices cool off, we skim off the fat...

The ham was falling off the bone when I took it out of the oven for the final time. Very Tasty and Very Easy... Paula never fails!
