After I read everyone review I decided to use half pudding, half whip cream & little bit powdered sugar.
The pudding taste really like home made and light. All my guests loved it.

As far as ease of preperation, you can't really beat something this easy -- everything was pretty good except -- I did not like the pre-packaged pudding on top -- a better idea would be to make your own custard sauce and pour that over the top -- to make it like a real trifle -- the pudding really does ruin it -- but it's semi-homemade right?? I really like Sandra Lee's decorating ideas -- she has some fantastic ideas that seem so much fun even if you try just a few of them -- and in this episode her table looked just wonderful -- everybody needs to give her a break -- we all know it's semi-homemade, not "scratch baking"!
