This dessert is fabulous served warm with some vanilla ice cream. Even when its fully cooled or left over from the night before, it takes on a wonderfully chewy texture tasting a lot like chewy fudge brownies.

This was an amazing recipe. My boyfriend wouldn't let me take any to work to share! Keep it up, Paula!

The crust seemed somewhat dry. I forgot to add nuts which always make things better to me. Of course I ate it, though.

This recipe was not the worst I have tried. I expected rich and gooey. It met those expectations. However, the flavors just weren't there. I may try the toffee gooey cake to see if the flavors meld better. It was brownie-like in texture. I cooked it for only 30 minutes and it was done. People may want to watch the cooking times depending on their ovens. Will I make it again? Probably not!

I loved these. They were like a soft, chewy brownie with a cheesecake layer. I added walnuts and it really helped to distinguish the two layers. YUMMY!!

I made 2 cakes, 1 with the choc. cake mix and 1 with yellow cake mix without cocoa. They both turned out wonderful, I drizzled carmel ice cream topping on the choc one and it was so devine. Took these to a party and both pans were gone within an hour, everyone loved this cake. Thanks Paula for a wonderful recipe!!!!
