    I have always made Pizzelles during the holiday season. I got my recipe from my uncle Tony in Italy and it is a bit different then Mario Batalli's. He uses Anise Extract.
    I enjoy trying something new and made Mario's.. they were delicious.. Thank you I will make Pizzelles my way and yours from now on.

    Pizzelles are supposed to be crispy, cookie like. These were soft. The flavor was tasty, but it need to be crispy.

    I used this recipe last Christmas and was very very pleased. This is my Italian mommy's favorite cookie, and she LOVED them.
