    Maybe cinnamon in the dry ingredients as well as with the apples? Kind of bland, but like the ingredients and texture. Like splitting it and broiling the underside. It's moist enough. Going to work with it. Might be better during apple season with more strongly flavored apples - maybe Granny Smith.
