It is definately a RUM ball receipe. Great for men, not really a lady's treat.

These were eated like popcorn at our holiday party! Yet, WARN your guests that they are very full of RUM! a good Toxic! you must like RUM to like these - but if you do - YUM YUM YUM! they are very thick and rich so I may make the balls 1/2 the size next time.

This was a successful dessert for my Holiday guests. The rum is a little strong for some, but others didn't mind it at all.

This is a great, simple recipe and is delicious (with or without the walnuts! I missed the show and this may have been mentioned there, but a little note on the recipe online mentioning that a light coating of powdered sugar on your hands makes rolling into a ball much easier.

I made these for some co-workers and they loved them. I guess it had been a while since they had these, because they were gone before I put the tray down.

The rum was too strong, I altered it by doing just under a 1/4 C of spiced rum and 1/4 C of water to make the 1/2 C, then I added one more tablespoon of the lt corn syrup. Then when they it was ready I rolled them in powder sugar. It worked and everyone so far loved them.
