I have just made the stuffing so far and at first taste it is sooooo good. I debated using stock instead of water to cook the rice to increase the flavor. But since everyone had liked it so far, I went with the recipe. It has plenty of yummy flavor. I actually used a brown rice and wild rice medley since it was what I had. So good. I'm going to try not to eat it all before tomorrow.

Easy. I would also serve with fish or chicken during the week. Husband loved!

I used turkey tenderloins and cooked at 350 for 25 minutes and cut pockets in them and used this stuffing in those. Even with this recipe halved I still have a bunch of stuffing left over. I am allergic to the nuts so I excluded those and I was out of thyme so I added basil and I used Italian seasoning and olive oil for the turkey because I did not have any turkey seasoning. It was a nice and filling meal I served a greek salad for a side and did Guy's poblano corn pudding

After being diagnosed gluten intolerant, I wanted an entire GF Thanksgiving meal so I didn't have to worry about cross contamination. Since GF stuffing would have been expensive to make because GF bread is about $7/loaf, I started looking for alternatives and found this recipe. I made it the day before Thanksgiving, which worked out great. The rice tasted wonderful when I made it and was even better after baking inside the turkey. I found it a little bit time consuming by the time I did the nut toasting and veggie chopping and all that, but it was easy enough to work on prepping other dishes while it was cooking. It was delicious, naturally GF, and pretty healthy, so I will be making this every year now.

I was looking for a new stuffing receipe and thought we'd try this. Mom was a little skeptical because it had rice rather than bread. My mom made this tonight (day before Thanksgiving for the first time. OH MY SO GOOD. We all ate about 1/4 of it because it was so good. Can't wait for tomorrow to have more.

This was supper tasty and not too hard. My husband hates stuffing and loved this so much he asked to just have the stuffing for his meal!

I only made the stuffing -- and I didn't check the top on spice & dumped in WAY too much and it was still awesom. This Thankdsgiving will be the third time I am makeing per hostess request as to what to bring.
