Well, this was just excellent. I had never made fondue anything before and prepared this at a friend's New Years Eve gathering last night. I served with cookies, pound cake, fruit, pretzels, marshmallows and used for dippers chopped nuts, coconut, homemade granola and the fondue was incredible. And unbelievably easy. Thank you!

I have made this recipe for years and my kids love it and is great for company. I have always omitted the butter and found no problems with that. Add a little bit of orange flavoring or liquor.

We had some friends over for fondue and this recipe was a huge success. We call it "Fundue" now and can't wait to get together again.

This fondue was a hit at my party. I used one of those fondue "fountains" and it acted like a water cooler as everyone gathered around it :
