This was my first time making veal and being that I love to cook but have a very picky 10 yr old makes it hard to find things he likes. Well, my daughter, bf, ten yr old son and also myself LOOOVED this. It was so good, both my kids asked for seconds. Very simple and easy to make. Will definitely be making this again.

I have made this recipe a few times now and it is great for a special occasion. I make exactly as the recipe calls for except I don't roll - I just halve the veal and it seems to cook easier. It also looks better ; ENJOY!!!

Aside from veal being very expensive, this recipe was fun to put together. I couldn't find pancetta in slab form, so I it in the round bologna type form - it still worked fine, I was amazed. The rolls actually stayed in roll form when I cooked them. My wife loved this meal - it was the first veal we ever had. I'm sure I'll be whipping it up again.

I tried substituting because I couldn't find the smoke mozza nor the pancetta. It turned out good, and can only imagine what it would turn out when I found all the right stuff! I'll try mozza next time, hit the italian store for the pancetta. Thanks, Awesome recipe!

RECIPE WAS SO EASY TO MAKE AND ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. WAS OUT OF PANCETTA ONCE SO USED BACON AND NOT AS GREAT. THE THIN PANCETTA CRISPS UP NICELY AND THE SMOKY MOZZARELLA ADDS A GREAT FLAVOR. MY FAMILY ALWAYS REQUESTS THIS DISH.

I had such great expectations for this recipe, but the final product did not turn out so well. I substituted regular bacon for pancetta, and perhaps that was the problem. The meal had too smoky flavor, and by the time bacon was crispy, the meat was alredy overcooked. Too bad, I love veal dishes...

I made this recipe for my husband and my sister, both of whom loved it! Since I am on a no beef kick, I also made a this recipe using chicken breast that I pounded to a similiar thickness as the veal. It was absolutely tasty! I love the ohhs and ahs over such a simple to make dish!

Very easy and delicious. Couldn't find smoked Mozz. but found smoked Fontina. Wasn't sure my kids would like the smoked cheese so I made 1/2 w. smoked cheese & 1/2 w. reg. Mozz. They liked the smoked even more. My husband came home the next day after work and said "we'll you kicked it up a notch w/ last nights dinner, so what are you making good tonight" I replied "Chicken Scarpariello" and they loved it too. Rachael, need more more and more recipes. They're so easy.
