    The rabe really needs a quick blanching in boiling water - drain well - pat dry and proceed. Without the blanching it is bitter bitter bitter.

    Prepared as a side dish for Thanksgiving. The vinegar seems to remove all the bitter taste of the greens. Even the non-greens eaters at my table enjoyed.
