I have made this fruit pizza every summer since I saw Paula Deen make it on her show. My kids love and wish they could have it all year round. I have changed it just a little by taken off the items my kids don't like. I will be making it for my daughters graduation party this weekend. Sure it will be a hit with her friends. Thank you Paula

Even though my recipe is a little different I'm sure this one's just as good. With the one I use it calls for a cookie sheet and you cut the cookies like you're going to bake them then press them out. It's really easy that way and the cream cheese spread has 1/3 cup of sugar in it. The only fruit mine calls for is pineapple chunks, maraschino cherries, mandrin oranges, and kiwi but I've tried several different kinds of fruit. The topping calls for 1/4 cup of orange marmalade and 1 TBSP of water. Then you have to chill it for a hour. I always do two of them because you have so much fruit left over and it keeps in the frig for a few days. I also do a veggie pizza. They're great for parties of any kind......

I added about 8 ounces of crushed pineapple with a couple tablespoons of the juice to the cream cheese, and zested a lemon into it as well. I'm also not big on orange marmalade, so I left it off, and did the pizza with mandarin oranges, kiwi slices, peaches, strawberries, and raspberries.

The cookie dough is a real time saver compared to dealing with a pastry. I found the dough hard to roll out and had success pressing it into the pan. I was happy to find out it didn't stick.

Just tried this recipe for dessert to accompany Sunday dinner. It was fabulous. I did, however, add 1/4 cup of powdered sugar to the cream cheese to sweeten things up a bit. I used strawberries, peaches, kiwi, and blueberries. It was positively fabulous. I appreciated the reviews of others and only made half of the recipe, as I didn't want to have any inedible soggy pizza to throw out tomorrow. July is the perfect month to make this because the fruit was absolutely PERFECT - so sweet and juicy. Thanks Paula, this one gets two thumbs up!!!
