    I was excited to try this recipe as I love pickles, but this was just bad stuff. The cloves are way too strong (take them out after a few hours and the grapes don't absorb the pickling. However, the jicama absorbs too much flavor and you can't tell what it is. Anyway, I made this for Thanksgiving and it was a total flop. It's so strong that it made everyone cough.

    I had never given it a thought about pickled grapes, until I seen it on Sara's show, and I had to try it, I had 2 guests for dinner when I broke them out of the frig. they were excellant (3 days laterevery body liked them.
