This sauce was MUCH better the next day and was a hit at Thanksgiving. In my opinion, it could use just a tad less mustard and it definitely needs to sit in the fridge overnight.

I made this recipe because I thought it would be a good twist on a classic. It turned out pretty thin (I prefer it thicker and I put in about half the mustard, but it's really horseradish-y. I'm sure it would be great with leftover turkey for sandwiches, but I don't want to serve it as the main relish. I'm going back to my classic recipe.

I made this last Thanksgiving without the dijon and it was excellent!!!! Even those that don't like cranberry sauce were eating by the spoonfulls. Now that I've seen the reviews noting how fabulouse it was with the dijon, I'll make both versions this Thanksgiving. This is the BEST cranberry sauce recipe I've tried!

Even the people who thought they would not like it loved it! I didn't tell anyone about the mustard until after they tried it and liked it. I had people eating it by the spoonful during Thanksgiving.

I tried this out pre-Thanksgiving at home and at work. It was unanimous approval, one person grabbed the bowl to take home. I had to use vanilla instead of the beans (a tsp. per bean. The one thing everyone agreed is that they preferred it WITH something, like with the fixins or on the turkey (like a chutney. A delicious change and so easy to make!
