This is soooo yummy. I didnt know this was a Food Network Recipe. I was in my local grocery store and they create items for their customers to try. They made this! Never had rapini....it was great. However, it makes a HUGE amount of food. I will split recipe in half next time and I like it a bit more soupy so I put 2 cups of broth.

This recipe was so easy to make and so flavorful. I only had beef broth on hand so I used that instead of the chicken broth and it came out delicious. This is a great week night dinner that warms up nicely the next day for lunch.

Easy, delicious and so satisfying! This combination has always been one of my favorite dining-out options; I replaced the cavatelli with orecchiette. Yum!

I can't wait to try this recipe which I have been searching for for almost a week. Had it in a restaurant in Oakville, CT (Romo's and it took my breath away!! I'll be busy tonight cooking this up.
    Thanks a bunch.

Used Casarecce instead of Cavatelli and am sure almost any pasta would do. Made one tweak, halved the chicken broth and substitute some wine to deglaze the pan, added another layer of flavor. Also shocked the broccoli rabe in between cooking and mixing it into the sausage, kept it nice and green. Might just reduce the pasta ratio a bit, maybe 3/4 lb dried pasta, otherwise this is easy, very good and great for leftovers.

My husband usually gets this at a local restaurant, but not anymore. He says this is the best he ever had. We had the leftovers the following night. I only used 1pd frozen cavetelli. Love it!

This recipe is not only easy, it's wonderful. My family and I have had it several times, and each time I get asked when I'm going to make it again.

I had my doubts about how satisfying this would be with just broth as a liquid but it came out great. It was very easy and quick. Absolutely delicious!
