These beans got rave reviews at my last cook-out. I made them the day before and just heated them through at the party.

These were terrible. I wish there was some way to fix the recipe but I guess I'm just going to keep looking for another recipe.

I have made this recipe at least 10 times. One person said "These beans are so good I want to pour them on my chest and eat them". I am making them for my brothers rehearsal dinner this summer. When I make them I cook the bacon until almost done and also drain off most of the grease. I taste as I add to make sure it isn't too sweet. I suggest making with Frank's RedHot sauce. The best baked beans I have ever had!

Yes, the beans are a bit sweet, but that's the way we eat them in the south. Good recipe.

The kids liked them but the beans seemed to be a bit hard to digest. Hubby and I didn't care for the flavor ourselves.

Far too sweet with the ketchup and other sugars. It was greasy too because I didn't drain the bacon. Maybe they left that step out of the recipe.

The baked beans were really good, when i first made them for the very first time they were very sweet but when i made them again i only used i teaspoon of brown sugar plus the honey and they came out just right. And dont pay any attention to the negative reviews because I just noticed that many of the reviews are coming from the same city on some of her other sites.and if the reciepes are so awwful or you wouldnt feed them to your pet then find another show or another site to go to. there are plenty of others on the food network now dont get me wrong, there are really some people out there that really are giving their honest opinion about not liking the dishes from sandra but there also are some very mean people out there also and you know who you are PLEASE!!! get a life.
