Pretty good and easy because you can make hot dogs also and still only buy one kind of bun. We think they are tasty and have made them several times. I was returning to the recipe today because we are making them again

I've made these many times for my little ones and they do seem to like them ok, but not as much as my Doggy Burgers which are hot dogs chooped in the food processor and formed into little mini burgers. THOSE are a huge hit with my brood!

If I wanted a smaller serving of hamburger, I'd make the patties smaller or -- better yet -- I'd make her exceptional "MINI BURGERS ON TOASTED DISKS." The problem with HAMBURGER DOGS is it's heavy-handed seasoning. I don't know any kid that would eat something like that.

I used champagne extract and pepita-cilantro dressing. I shaped them like a loaf of scones because that's what I had in the pantry. They were disgusting.

This is an excellent meal to make when you don't have a lot of time to spend. If you don't have the meatloaf seasoning just improvise. Add whatever seasoning you like. Also, if you don't have the hotdog buns just make them into regular burgers. My friends really loved the hamburger dogs.

If you added bacon to this recipe, it would remind me of The Cosby Shows "Bacon Burger Dog."
