We love you Paula but my family did not like these cookies at all. I used the chocolate cream cheese filling from your "chocolate fix" segment, because of all the bad reviews for this crisco filling. But these still fell far short of the recipes I have tried from you previously. And these cookies were listed as medium difficulty in your chocolate fix segment and as easy here.

i am having a hard time with the cookies. they come out greasy, i did the batch twice, the first time,i coiuldn't get tehm off the foil. so i added a extra 1/4 c flour, that didn't seem to work. with the second batch i used parchment they come off, but still greasy.also tried cooking for the 9 min. sp trying to cook it a little longer and see what i get. i hope it comes out.

Although this takes a little time it is well worth it.. My husband gave me the use of a cone shaped plumb bob... what a great way to shape and cool all at once. Also I use parchment paper on my cookie sheet which works so much better. The frosting is so basic that I have added cheesecake jello pudding during the creaming process.. wonderfull taste.. also have added Cream Brulee coffee creamer instead of the hot milk.. excellent for any type of filling.. seems I can never make enough of these. I plan ahead and store the prebaked cookie in a box [not air tight please] and fill when the big event is just hours away. Everyone asks for another one please!

the crusty cookie was easy to make and roll, but the inside filling was too greasy. the crisco base filling was not very tasty. a cannoli filling might suit this delicious crusty cookie much better! Nevertheless, i enjoyed making something new and learning how to use new baking tools such as the metal and wood bakiing forms and the special silicone baking sheet. i went all the way out to get the best product possible. Sorry that the filling didn't suit my taste.

Say Hallelujah! to these wonderful Lace Trumpets. A little tricky for a beginner to create, but with patience you can have something heavenly to give and to eat! I'm very, very new to this type of baking so I took my time with it. Lot's of Love later...Absolutely superb lacey displays will be yours for the enjoying. I know we'all did!

These were hard to make due to the fact the most important step is rolling the cookie to form a trumpet. Which is hard unless you have asbestos fingers. Otherwise different and delicate cookie
