    I saw these on the show and I just had to make them. They are so easy to make and so good to eat. My family couldn't leave them alone!

    Flavor was nice but they were too dry. Maybe substituting a cup of canned pumpkin for the quick oats would help? I'm not sure but I'm an inexperienced baker so I'm not going to try.

    We tried dipping them in coffee but instead of making them soft it made them chewy.

    Won't go so far as to call cake mix and 12 T of butter "healthy" LOL since they're not, but it does make a nice cookie. Came out really dry the first time but I add additional liquid now. Nice thick cookie, soft but not chewey. Nice with the dates. Good for bake sales and office parties.
