First, I must say that these cookies are absolutely beautiful. They are the perfect cookie for any holiday party. Second, as far as taste, they are quite good, especially the raspberry filled cookies. The dough is a little dry and crumbly, but overall, these cookies were a big hit.

I made these cookies as a "Secret Santa" present for a co-worker. She loved them and not knowing I was the culprit kept offering one to me.
The recipe only made about 23 cookies, not the 32 stated on the recipe... but it is entirely possible that I ate those extra 9 cookies worth of the raw dough.

I made these cookies to give to my coworkers for Christmas. They are simply amazing. I will have to make more to have at home. Thanks Ina for another wonderful recipe. I can always count on you.

I am a HUGE Ina fan but am very disappointed with this one; the dough is in the frig and I have a BIG mess...dough is very crumbly and would not come together. Too much flour? Hopefully I can make something out of this besides the cookies!

I followed the recipe to a T, and the cookies came out perfectly! As soon as they were cooled, my husband tried one and loves them. He rates them as excellent and so do I. I used raspberry, cherry and apricot jams and each one is great. I did read several reviews before I started and I also used parchment paper and with much success! Thank you Ina, way to go!!!

This will be the third year that I've made this cookie for Christmas. It gets rave reviews from the people lucky enough to receive them. It's a marvellously easy recipe, which is especially great at this time of the year! Thanks Ina!

These taste SO good and are very festive for the holidays. I did bake on the top rack of the oven for 25 min, and the bottoms were the perfect color. I used a a little too much water in the egg wash, as the coconut didn't stick as plentiful as i'd have liked. Make great gifts!
