I tasted them before breading and finishing them and thought they tasted just as good at that point, minus the extra time and calories. The final product didn't turn out crispy for me- one side was a little soggy. I will make them again, but I think I'll try finishing them in the oven next time.

Delicious. I even left the "gills" on. My mom has never had portobello mushrooms, so tomorrow for mother's day I think I'll prepare these for her...what a way to first try portobellos. This time I'll try it without the gills.

I used this recipe for my husband's Birthday party and our guests were eating them quicker then I could get them on the table. Needless to say, I (the cook was left to have the scraps left in the pan! Awesome Recipe!

i bought the pre- sliced portabellos, saves some time. I prepared half in the egg wash and the other half tossed in balsamic then coated them with the bread crumb/chhese mix. The ones with the balsamic vinegar had alot more flavor.

I LOVED em...there is nothing else to say...sprinkled them with a little bit of parmesan and dipped them in balsamic vinegar...TO DIE FOR!!! As a matter of fact, I was trying them out as a side dish for dinner for everyone and...ahem...they didn't make it to the dinner table...I ATE EM ALL!!!
