Pretty good flavor, but mine came out really dry.

it was extremly sweet. I would add less sugar but it was good.

I have to say I am not a fan of Ina's recipes for the most but but this one is outstanding. My family loves it and friends constantly request it.

This is a no-fail lemon cake. Everyone loved it and wanted more. I used a decorative bundt pan instead of the two loaf pans and it worked well and looked beautiful.

Having no loaf pans and needing a lemon cake for a party the next day, I used the full recipe and baked it in my bundt pan. It still received RAVE reviews although I know i baked it a little too long.

I also used organic cane sugar. The cake was a darker color and everyone thought I had used molasses. Organic cane sugar has such a better flavor in all baked goods.

My husband almost ate the whole thing in one sitting! Needless to say they were a big hit at my house.

I would like for the cake part to be more zesty. I tried adding more zest and it did not seem to help. The flavors did not meld as I would have expected.

These are really moist and so lemony! I just made them for Easter using a pan I have that has 6 mini-bundt cakes. The recipe made 12 total. They look and taste great!

I am a chocoholic, but my husband prefers 'citrusy' desserts, so I had to try this. We both loved it! It was a little dry around the edges, but probably due more to my unpredictable oven than the recipe. I agree with previous reviews, next time I will poke holes so the syrup and glaze can penetrate more of the cake. Great flavor and texture and very easy to make, just takes a few extra steps.
