We used miso dressing and it was far too salty to go well with the cinnamon and whatnot. We probably won't try this again.

Loved, loved this salad. so easy,so refreshing. The candiedwalnuts are a MUST for this salad. The buttered lettuce is sometimes hard to find at my store so one day I used baby spinach, have to say.....it was pretty good.
Thanks Sandra, you make my life so interesting and much easier!!!

This was the sweetest most delish salad. My husband wouldn't eat it, but when we go to restaurants he asks for iceburg "only" and just croutons with it and ranch dressing on the side. So it figures :

And sometimes nutmeg and vanilla, too. I think it gives greens a nutty and sophisticated flavor. Personally, I thought the walnuts were lacking in the flavor department and i will definitely add more cinnamon and some nutmeg when I make them again. And I will add a dash of vanilla extract to perk up the dressing.

The dressing, we liked. The rest of the salad went in the dustbin. Don't waste your time on it.

None of the flavors go together. What a mistake.

This was probably the most disliked of all the Semihomemade recipes we've tried.

A disappointing recipe. The cinnamon walnuts in a salad were extremely unappetizing. Too bad, because candies nuts if made differently would have been aawesome in this.
