these went over great at our super bowl get together this year. i made 2 batches, one marinated in advance with peppers & one basted per the recipe without peppers. the basted recipe came out with much better flavors of chicken & the meat didn't have that marinated texture to it. it was so easy just make sure you prep the meat before your guests arrive & then do the dipping, by the time i finished cooking the second batch they had devoured the first! it was great! i'll never buy frozen wings again!

These are great! As are all the recipes from this episode! Tyler never fails to impress. Watch the quality of soy sauce -that is why you are getting a too salty flavor. These taste and look gorgeous!

I decided to marinate the wings for 5 hours in garlic, beer, scallions, a drop of olive oil, sea salt and pepper. The recipe is easy to manage but I found that there was too much sauce in the end (though it was definitely good! the grapefruit juice give it an extra zing and I didn't want to pour the rest over the wings because I didn't want to drown out the taste of the chicken. I think you can still easily make the sauce at half the recipe quantities and still have plenty to pour over or dip during the mean. I put a cup of sauce on the side.

I made this recipe for the first time about a year ago for my daughters first birthday bash. I love trying new recipes. I actually made the sauce and marinated the wings overnight and then broiled and topped with cilantro and toasted sesame seeds. There wasn't a wing left. Every family event results in a request for these wings, and it is so easy! I highly recommend to everyone.

We have always loved Teriyaki sauce at restaurants but never knew how to make it at home. One evening we were watching Tyler and decided that we thought this recipe was easy enough to try. Boy was it! Simple and simply marvelous. It has become one of our staple recipes.

Easy to make, but flavor was very sharp and acidic. Hoisin was overpowering.

I made these for the superbowl and it was not a hit. They were very salty and the sauce never thickened up. I was extremely dissapointed.
