I have used this recipe a lot. It's a nice light and refreshing dessert or a great palate cleasner between courses. Leftovers.....just add vodka and pelligrino for a tasty summer cocktail!

This is my French favorite that I miss a lot, because I live in the States now. This recipe is amazing. The ginger twist brings a lot to the sorbet. You can do the same thing with oranges too, and a pinch of cinnamon or cardamon (your choice! is excellent.

Another tip from my mother (a very nice woman:
When making "oranges givrees" (the orange one!, after cleaning up her oranges and gets the "bowl" from it, she puts a shot of brandy in the orange bowl. She lets it sit while she is preparing everything. She removes it just before putting the sorbet in, but she keeps it for drizzling on top of the orange just before serving. It's very impressive... You HAVE TO TRY IT!

    Thanks...

It was AWSOME. Delious, full-flavored. But there wasnt enough to satisfy my test subjects! This was my first time making something on my own!
