It is very nice and rich. I reduced the butter and sugar amount.

OMGosh took this to a fourth of July parade picnic. The pan had four brownies left (I cut them smaller than directed. I barely got out with two of them to take home to have my son try them. He never got to try them cause I ended up eating them. Guess I'll have to make them again.

I tried these brownies a couple of years ago and my family loves them. They are now my go to brownie and I have adapted them to make all kinds such as raspberry chocolate, turtle pecan etc. They are the greatest. Way to go INA!

I usually love Ina's recipes, and since alot of the reviews here said the brownies were delicious and wonderful, I decided to try the recipe out. From the very beginning I thought there was way to much butter being put in, but i decided to go ahead and give it a shot anyways. After nearly an hour plus in the oven the brownies still werent baked through and once we cut into them, there was nothing but oil pouring out! I love Ina, but I am terribly dissapointed with this recipe and will never attempt it again!

Very Yummy! My 2 year old niece love them and my 1 year old nephew loved them even more!!! I thought the coffee flavor was a little to much. I wont add as much next time. But very good.

As others have said, this is delicious and very rich. I gave it four instead of five stars only because to me this is more like fudge instead of a brownie.

very rich. it takes 4 sticks of butter, 2 1/4 c of sugar and 6 eggs. plus a ton o chocolate. i baked it in a rectanngle pyrex dish. it did take a lot longer to cook. i didnt add walnuts. it is insanely rich.

Best brownies ever! I thought they were too many, but once you try them, they seem too few...
Cool them before cutting, it will be easier. Thanks Ina, one more time you score a hit!!!
