This was an easy recipe that was absolutely delicious. Even my 9 year old who is not a big rice fan loved it.

I guess I was expecting something with, well, flavor. Where's the soy sauce? I guess no one said this was Chinese fried rice, huh?

I used fresh vegetables (zucchini, carrots and green and hot peppers, cooked with sesame oil, and added some soy sauce (at the recommendation of others!- fabulous! I also did one using fresh fish and it was yum-m-y.

This recipe tasted better than pretty much all fried rice dishes i have tried at restaurants. I added some soy sauce and didn't add ginger or the regular onion (just the scallops to it to give it the flavor i wanted. I also used chicken instead of ham. This recipe is great in a sense that it allows you to give it personal touches.
