I have made this on many occasions and it is not only simple to make, but gets rave reviews. It has become the hit of our annual turkey-smoke and everyone wants to know how to make it. You can easily substitute the pistachios for chopped walnuts or almonds (just be sure to pulse in your food processor. This is also great to make ahead of time for an easy, yet impressive, appetizer when entertaining.

My friend served this on New Years Eve and it was such a hit with EVERYONE. So tasty and delicious! Seems a bit laborous, but definitely worth all the effort!

This is one of the best party foods ever! Everyone raved over the taste and the presentation! I used store bought pesto in a jar and it was superb! I also suggest using more pistachios than called for and leaving them in larger "chunks" when mixing with the cream cheese. It adds nice texture and taste. Try this...you'll love it!

Wow! What a great recipe this one is. I have made it a few times, and every time is a success. Everyone at my gatherings enjoys it and comments that not only it tastes wonderful, but the presentation is beatiful as well. It's like Paula says "it's out of this world." Thanks Paula!
