Where do you find chipotle pepper puree? I would like to try this but don't know where to find puree or what I can substitute it with.............

I made this recipe for my mom and she can`t get over it. She asks me to make it all the time. I lost the recipe and she was devastated but she said it was the best tuna burger she has ever had and the green chile-pickle relish is amazing. The blending of these flavors is to die for, i recommened this to anyone who likes seared tuna.

I made these for dinner tonight and they were wonderful. I didn't make the relish, as I found out too late I was out of pickles. I went heavier on the chipolte pepper puree than the recipe called for and it gave the burgers a nice kick. I'll make this tuna burger recipe often. They were fast, once you had the glaze made.

Definately a keeper! I did make a couple of adjustments, b/c I did not have all ingredients on hand, I used a pinch of all-spice instead of ginger, and a 1/4 of a scotch bonnet pepper instead of the chipotle pepper puree. I don't think the bugers came out as spicy, but my husband could not eat alot of spicy food at the time we made these. They were still very tasty and so easy to make, and did not fall apart on the grill!

These are great. I've cooked them once every two or three weeks since I saw the episode.

This recipe is, how you say, very nice. Even individuals who swore they'd never eat tuna ended up loving these. It's a good way to get people hooked on this fish. There is so much flavor packed into the tuna and the pineapple mustard mixture made the perfect glaze.
