What a wonderful potato wedge recipe! After cooking them to the almost tender stage, I put the potatoes in the oven at 425 degrees for 20 minutes cut side up and 20 minutes skin side. The potatoes were a big hit and were a much healthier companion to Guy Fieri's fantastic Dragon's Breath Chili. Though it will be hard to improve on what we had, the next time I prepare these I will grill them.

These fries were easy and and a great side to any BBQ. I didn't read the recipe too carefully the first time I made them and actually sliced the raw potato into wedges before boiling, but I made sure not to over cook them and they still turned out great! I substituted 1 of the tablespoons of chilli powder with smoked paprika as there were kids eating, but all the flavor was still there. Highly reccommend trying this out!

Easy to make and felt like this was a "healthy" alternative to frying most def! Easy and fun to experiment and try your own different seasonings on the grilled fries!

These have been the hit of many cookouts we've had this summer. They are always requested and are so easy to make for large crowds!

one question though-- could you bake or microwave the potato instead of boiling it???

Amount of spices was too much for my husband and I tastes and we usually like spicy food. This was more work than what its worth. I can produce just as good or better in the oven without getting hot over a grill turning individual potatoes wedges.

These potatoes are tasty and a great compliment to any barbecued meats. Served them with the Mexican Corn and the family loved them!
