Just a warning, which you won't need if you pay close attention to the overall weight of this recipe, i.e. it will easily feed eight very hungry people! To serve only four you can easily reduce this one by a factor of three or four.
Secondly: the posted cooking time is 6 minutes. That needs a little adjustment..
Lastly, the overabundance of beans made this a very heavy dish. Very heavy. I'm hoping that a second try with about half the volume of beans called for will work out better. On a more positive note, the flavors are wonderful, especially if you use a high end balsamic vinegar. Our collective opinion was this recipe has potential, but it's in need of rework. Waiting for version 2.0

Quite a flavorful dish & very simple to prepare. Like the others, I, too ,used canned white beans. Love the smokey taste of the grilled radicchio & the vinegar makes the onions burst. A keeper!

My husband I recently started watching our carbs, salt and cholesterol. we ran this recipe past his cardiologist and he said go for it.
It was simple, incredibly flavorful..sinmply put, it was sinfully scrumptious and satisfying. We even tried it with canned beans and rinsed them to lower the salt and it was every bit as good and saved the day when we forgot to soak the dry beans over night but were already set to prepare this meal that night. Thanks bobby flay for another great meal!
