SO Yummy! First tim making a smoothy, sad I know, but this is easy and delicious! Great use for all my frozen bananas and I used Trader Joes frozen mixed berries and stawberries (1 cup each, eyeballed the honey, added a splash of OJ (not fresh....it was PERFECT!!!!

I made this yesterday as a snack. Very easy to do, basic ingredients yet turns out to be pretty healthy tasting. I forgot to add honey but it tasted like it didn't need any. This is pretty good as a breakfast treat also. I will try this again with more selections of fruits next time.

I added some frozen mango to the berries and cut out the OJ -- delicious, nutritious breakfast.

If you don't know how to make a good smoothie start here. It' a great base recipe with the right mixture of dairy, fruit, juice and sweetness. From them you can swap most ingredients up to make all kinds of fun smoothies!

I cannot wait to make this again! My family loved it!. One thing I did was add more than just one of the other frozen fruit mentioned. I bought a frozen mixed tropical fruit bag and it came out great! Next time I will try with just frozen cherries!! I think another thing that helped me was watching Alton Brown's smoothie Good Eats. I was never good at blending smoothies but this one came out great, with my cheap blender because Alton showed how to properly blend a smoothie! :
