The secret is in the sauce and good bread. I loved my kid's faces when I asked them if this was good. Their somber wide-eyed expressions as their heads bobbed up and down said it all.

I was really looking forward to trying these ever since I saw Rachel make them on her show. I wound up being a bit disappointed. They tasted ok, but it seems like an awfully big effort for an "ok" sandwich. This wasn't difficult to make but I would have enjoyed a plain ol' grilled ham and cheese just as much.

delicious. The bechamel sauce really made this an amazing sandwich. Not very good for you....but delicious. It's worth the splurge.

These were okay tasting but messy no matter how little bechemel sauce I used. I did everything I could to kick up the flavor. I used honey smoked turkey lunchmeat and I added garlic with herbs to the bechemel sauce. The flavor was just so so. I'm not going through this much trouble to have a ho-hum sandwich. Oh well, it was fun to try something new.

I made it for my parents this morning and it was delicous. They both said it was really good. They liked the sauce a lot and I did to. Thanks sooooo much Rachel Ray!

This sangy (my son's word for sandwich was Wow! But being a foodie, I always like to tweak a recipe. I added thinly smoked turkey to the inside. Then I changed the bechamel sauce to morney (add swiss cheese. After grilling the sandwiches, I poured the sauce OVER the sandwich, not inside. Some folks even threw some tomato slices inside. Go crazy! Thanks Rachael!

great bechamel sauce w/ the mustard. i also added a little nutmeg and threw in tomato slices. will definitely make again, even though it was slightly decadent.

Awesome recipe! The flavor of the sauce just melted right into the cheese and the combination was incredible. My hubby gobbled it right up! Thanks Rachel. I love your recipes!
