made this as my first cheesecake, took it to a city christmas party, everyone loved it and wanted the recipe. have made it a few times since, my boyfriend demands it from time to time, and my brother absolutely loves the praline sauce.. especially over ice cream. it is super easy and by far the best cheesecake i've ever had, and we live right near a cheesecake factory with all their creations, this one is still the best. thanks paula!

I really love this recipe. I have made it plain or used it as a marble. I think the praline sauce is good but this is a great cheesecake recipe to have in you book.

I made this cheesecake for Thanksgiving dinner. Everyone absolutely raved about how delicious this cheesecake was. Thank you Paula for another outstanding recipe.

I made this last year for Thanksgiving and everyone loved it. The praline sauce is good, but the cheesecake would be good with a fruit topping, too.

I have to completely agree with the previous reviewer that the sauce was a big disappointment. It tasted like corn syrup, even after adding more brown sugar and some butter. The cheesecake was very easy and very good but thank goodness I didn't pour the sauce over the whole thing becaue it would have ruined it. Might try making the sauce again and cut the syrup in half just to see if it improves the taste but keeps the same texture.

So far I have made four desserts by Paula and have received lots of compliments from my coworkers.
Being the huge fan of cheesecakes that I am, I gave this recipe a try not knowing how it'd turn out.
Little did I know, the cheesecake came out perfectly and everyone at work raved about it and said it was TO DIE FOR! I even got an offer from a soon-to-open coffee shop owner/coworker to add this cheesecake to their line of homemade patries!
Thanks Paula!

This was such an easy cheesecake to make and I loved being familiar with all the ingredients. My whole family loved it and I will definitely make it again.

The cheesecake was good. This is the same, great standby recipe my family makes in a 9"x13" pan. I was disappointed in the Praline Sauce though. All I could taste was the dark corn syrup. I think it needed less corn syrup, more brown sugar and some "butter". I gave the cheesecake 5 stars but the sauce only 1, so I averaged it out to 3.
