My 1st try at making ANY cheesecake; this recipe came out beautifully and was THE #1 hit at our Christmas Eve family gathering!! I modified the crust by just adding 1/2 cup sliced almonds; what a delicious, smooth consistancy cheesecake. Hats off to you, Paula Deen!!

I found this recipe so simple and the end result was great... I'm very new to baking, so I was looking for "easy" recipes. Always afraid of attempting to bake a cheesecake, until I saw Paula making this cheesecake... I thought, How simple. A little trick I learned to keep the praline sauce warm, I pour the sauce in a little bowl and I put the bowl on a candle warmer...Although, my cheesecake doesnt look as good as Paulas' or the picture... it sure does taste great!

This was one of the best cheesecakes i have ever made. I made it for a birthday, it was gone before i even got to try it. I had to make another. I now get asked to make this for all family occassions and holidays. It was also very easy, and i poured the sauce on the cake when it cooled a bit nobody could resist it.

this is a wonderful recipe. Delicious and easy. Just be careful about cooking the praline sauce too long. If you cook it until "thick", it will be too hard to chew. Get it good and hot, then cook it for another 30 seconds.

Cheesecake isn't always cheesecake, but this one was very tastey and a great consistency. More cake-like than most, but very creamy. The praline sauce was amazing! I loved this buttery caramel sauce and the toasted pralines were the perfect addition. I even liked this topping better than the fruit topping that was also offered. I could have eaten the topping alone!

Y made it , following exactly the instructions, and when was already cool we try it and did taste like a cheesecake was like kind of sour flavor and the crust wasn`t that good.To me 1 hr for cooking was to much may be was the oven but it takes too much tan, that makes it more dry not creamy

What a great recipe! I love cheesecake, and pralines too! Combining them has satisfied my sweet tooth. Thanks, Paula! By the way, today was the first time watching your show. I love it and the atmosphere you project.
