I didn't know how to put the bacon in the microwave, so instead I held it up to the door and heated on high for 5 minutes. My bacon was not cooked. I used the right amount of paper towels and everything. It was late, and I was hungry, so I ate a tub of frosting instead. Next time I am going to put the bacon on top of the microwave. Maybe that will work. Any suggestions?

I got stuck with this recipe. I could see the bacon in the package and counted 8 pieces, but I couldn't get them out of the package because Rachael didn't provide instructions. I'm really craving bacon. Please advise.

I really really want to make this recipe but I am all out of paper towels. And bacon. All I have to use as a paper towel is my favorite Three Wolf Moon t-shirt. Would that work? Also there has been this roadkill out on the road right behind my bathtub for a few days. It's been frozen, so I think it'll work just fine. But how many extra minutes should I microwave it for to thaw it out?

You all are making fun of this recipe, but I have to share this: When we were young brides, my friend got a phone call from a friend, who had no idea how to cook bacon. This would actually have been a necessary recipe for that young woman. I'm not kidding.

The recipe didn't say anything about removing my hand from the bacon, so I ended up microwaving my hand with the bacon and paper towels. I passed out twice from the pain, but once I awoke, the bacon, the paper towels and my hand had all melded into one yumm-o baconey flavored blob, which really was crispy and delicious. I've got one hand left, and oh yeah, I'm making this again tonight!

I love bacon, so this recipe caught my eye immediately!

However, after trying it a few times, I can't help but think that it's more trouble than it's worth. I mean, why do you have to get your microwave up high? Is it an altitude thing? My arms are killing me from holding it up there for 6 whole minutes!

Hey Ray Ray! I loved the recipe, but thought it needed something to be a late night meal. Could you please post your recipe for toast? I'd like a recipe for a glass of milk as well, but I don't think I could do all that in one night.

Personally, I think this recipe could be improved by the addition of a bit more bacon and a bit less paper towel. The taste of the towel was pretty good with all that bacon grease on it, but the texture was *awful*. I've tried this preparation a few times for my guests, and they always leave the towels behind. Sometimes slightly gnawed, but it's clear they don't enjoy them.
