My fridge broke so I've had to turn to non-preishables. I found some great dried Bacon in a bag called "Beggin' Strips." It substituted nicely after I marinated the paper towel in Pam, but did cause some halitosis.

Somehow I mixed this recipe up with the instructions on the shampoo bottle. I would definitely NOT recommend rinsing and repeating on this one.

Five stars because, well, it's bacon.
Minus four stars because, well, it's not a frickin' recipe.

I noted this recipe was suggested in 30 minute meals. I'm now in a bit of a pickle as to how I should use the rest of the time. Can you help?

I would say yes -- you can serve with Paula Deen's "English Peas." Then you'd have a vegetable and meat and you just need a carb and fruit for a balanced meal, perhaps serve inside manicotti shells with some mayonnaise and melon balls. And also a beverage, why don't we have pink lemonade today.

I agree with the person who posted "can this be served with Paula Deans "English Peas". These two recipes (and I use that word lightly should be served together when both " chefs" say goodbye to cooking. How did these recipes get 3 stars!!!!!

Yanno...I messed up big time..I wanted to mix my LNB with my mid morning 3 minute eggs and screwed up. I put them all into the microwave and threw an entire roll of paper towels in to catch the grease..The towel core became a "wick" and caught fire creating a place to shoot the unshelled eggs out of, CANNON style..My kitchen is now singed..the cat is in recovery at the vets from her 2nd degree burns...and the neighbors won't even acknowledge me through the new peep hole in their garage.. probably cuz I look different without eyebrows and hair..Thanks alot Rach..next time I'll let the Neely's show me the right way to do bacon..
