This is an easy and fantastically-flavored bolognese. YUM! I used yellow onion instead of red and substituted a little extra tomato sauce w/ a splash of water in place of the tomato juice. Whatever you do, don't leave out the thyme as I really think it makes the flavor of this dish. Great stuff; makes wonderful leftovers too!

This recipe makes great leftovers. I must note that I hate tomato sauce and this recipe needs more. You should try and add another half cup of tomato sause and more tomato juice to this recipe because it is kind of dry.

This was amazing! My husband is still talking about it days later. I substituted a mixture between ground turkey and hot turkey sausage. Very easy to make and tastes great as leftovers.

I thought this dish was slightly bland. My boyfriend, on the other hand, thought it was REALLY good. I didn't add the thyme so maybe that had a little something to do with it, but I did add basil at the end. I will try the suggestion of replacing the chicken with italian sausage maybe that will help.
