The whole house smelled great with this sauce, and it was perfect with chicken parmesan. I used only a tablespoon of olive oil to cut down on the fat, and added 1 tablespoon of butter at the end. I also added a sprinkle of sugar to help cut the acidity.

Good flavor and easy to make. Kind of oily, though. I think I'll use half the amount of oil next time.

I loved it, i added a lot of garlic.
It was easy and great with regular spagetti.

This was so easy and so fast compared to my usual meat gravy. Will definitely keep this on file!

I love Giada's Simple Tomato Sauce. It's great with pasta, italian sausage, polenta. With a few easy ingredients, you are on your way to making a delicious homemade pasta sauce.

This sauce was easy to prepare and had a wonderful flavor! I served it warm with Giada's fried calamari (another must try! and then added it to sauteed shallots, garlic, red pepper flakes, and white wine and tossed all of it with linguine and shrimp. Absolutely delicious!

Call me odd...but I prefer a deeper red sauce. Mine was orange...and very mild. It was perfect for the chicken parmesan, but I think in the future, I will know to adjust to my taste a little bit. I'm new to the "homemade sauce world", so I appreciate having a great standard recipe to always have on hand!
