This recipe really tastes like Waldorf Salad. You forget that you're eating cabbage, especially if you get good, sweet cabbate. I've taken it to Church and all our low-carb eaters as well as the other folks love it. It's good looking, too.

Loved this cole slaw. Looked pretty too. I agree with many that is is just a bit too sweet and next time will try to decrease the splenda a bit. Agreat recipe for diabetics.

This simple recipe is absolutely delicious. It was so easy. I hastened its preparation by purchasing ready-made slaw mix, which included carrot. I have never made it with the recommended walnuts, but it would be even more impressive if you did. The second time I made it, I added one small can of pineaple chunks for a slightly different twist. Anyway you make it, it will be wonderful; it's just one of those simple, classically great recipes. One suggestion: If you like your cole slaw on the sweeter side (which I do, cut down, or eliminate the salt. Either way this recipe "cooks!"

I really enjoy your recipes but wish they had a sugar count as well for diabetics.

This is easily the best cole slaw I have ever eaten. The dressing is rich and delicious and fits in very well with my low-carb program. One caution: as some of the other posters said, 2/3 cup of Splenda is a little excessive - try half that much or even less. You can always add more to suit your taste. My thanks to George Stella for his terrific recipes and to the Food Network for giving us this wonderful program.

This was simple to make and very tasty. It would be perfect to serve guests. The nuts add just the right crunch to replace higher carb carrots.

I really enjoyed this salad. It had a great dressing that was not too sweet. It got rave reviews at our picnic.

This was great. It really did remind me of the taste of a Waldorf Salad! The sweetness was just right for a Waldorf, however, some may want to cut down on the sweetner if you like your cole slaw less sweet tasting.

I really love cole slaw and this recipe is great. The walnuts made it such a treat, as for the splenda, as with any recipe, I always start out with less and add more if I feel it is needed for my taste because since I have been LCing I just don't seem to need so much sweet.
Just as good as KFC maybe better!!!!
