Tyler's risotto-style rice pudding worked perfectly. I did cover the pan for the first 15 mins of cooking as this is how I always make rice pudding. I used the same amount of aborio rice and whole milk as the recipe stated and it cooked to perfection. I did not have any strawberries on hand so I cannot rate that part of the recipe. Enjoy!

Don't follow the recipe, follow your common sense. After about an hour of trying to cook it as the recipe says, it was still watery (slightly thickened, but watery, and the rice was still hard and uncooked. My friend helped me out and pushed me out of the kitchen. He covered the pot and we stirred about every 10 minutes, with the pot on low heat. After 2 more hours, it was finally done. Tasted great! But man was it a lot of work. There HAVE to be better recipes out there. However the strawberry sauce included with this recipe is super delicious over ice cream (it's like home made, healthier strawberry syrup!

This is the worst recipe I have ever had to follow.
It took me three hours to make and all I ended up with was rice soup.
It was watery, there was too much milk, and 40 minutes to make was far from the truth of the matter.
I will NEVER EVER make rice pudding again after this experience.

This is an excellent take on the standard rice pudding dish. Everyone of my guests loved the rich creaminess, and not too sweet taste. It can stand alone or served as a great dessert.

It actually took 3 hours to cook this! I'm not sure what I did, but even though it took forever, the results were delicious.

I modified it a little by adding some heavy cream, mixed fruit in place of the solo strawberries and topped it off with whipped cream. The cooking time was off, it takes about an hour..
