I wish I had thought of this myself! These are so good. As easy to make on the grill as it is in the house. Better than beef!!

The flavors of this dish are wonderful, but the texture of the burger makes it less than a total success. Since we loved the flavors, we now use boneless chicken thighs (or breasts, and grill them with the teriyaki glaze which we "spike" with the chili sauce. These sandwiches are served with a "salad" of green onions, cilantro and cucumber along with the wonderful Ginger Mayonnaise. Faster, easier, and retains the great flavor!

wonderful flavor, i cut the cucumbers into matchstick size so we could add more or less to taste.

This was a lot of work for a burger. Add at least half an hour to the time it states on the recipe that it takes to make these. We BBQ'd them, and also added extra teriyaki glaze on the finished product. Those were good adjustments. But we still didn't think they were award winning.

The day after watching the show I prepared this for my husband. He said these were the best burgers he'd ever had and not to lose the recipe. They are divine!

I made these burgers but didn't put the teriyaki glaze on them. They didn't need it. They were delicious.

Definately a refreshing alternative to the traditional burger. Amazing how the ingredients meld together so well. I would not change anything yet I did make ginger mayo ahead(even better the next day!as well as the chicken patties(made them up & refrigerated for 15 mins. Wonderfully different recipe!

Don't change a thing. Great as is! Serve with an Asian flavored cole slaw and you are set!

I was watching the National Chicken cook-off, when much to my surprise the chicken burger dish won. Intrigued, I made the dish for company, adding hamburgers to the menu in case they didn't turn out. The results were fantastic. The chicken burgers have a great, light original flavor. The asian seasonings add a tangy twist and the ginger mayonaise and cucumbers complemented the dish beautifully-giving a tasty crunch.
The only changes I made were adding an extra clove of garlic and using light mayo. I'm sure this low-fat dish will be a mainstay im my repertoire.
    No one ate the hamburgers.
