This is a very good chowder, just not quite flavorful enough. I had to add a few things such as ham bits and bay leaves to make it really stand out.Thank you.

This chowder was great! I added chopped red bell pepper and a little cayanne at the end for a kick. I will definetly make this again. Yum!

Roasting the ears of corn on a hot grill for a few minutes gives the soup a better flavor. If you like red bell peppers, they make a great addition to this as well, roasted or not.

I made it with the cream style corn instead of fresh and it was so quick & easy to make. I served it inside the San Francisco style sour dough rolls and my friends were all over it.My husband wants me to make it all the time now.
