these green beans were simple to make and the shallots make the dish very flavorful. blanching the green beans also preserve the color and the crunch.

As usual, an excellent recipe from Ina. I made these for dinner the other night and they are really excellent. With her recipe and Giada's for tomatoes and green beans, I'm set! Thanks!

I don't even care for green beans that much and now I want to eat them with every dinner. Easy, too.

I love string beans as it is, but the shallots gave them an extra special flavor. Blanching gave the beans just the right crunch. I will probably make string beans in this manner from now on.

This was very good and easy. Careful with the lemon juice. If you have a large lemon, I wouldn't put all of it in. A little extra mustard (slightly more creamy was good.

I always like a recipe I can memorize after the first try. Especially one that tastes as good as this. Totally easy and unintimidating. Definitely in my Recipe Box.
