I give this recipe out (and give Ina credit! nearly every time I serve it. People LOVE this. I often will cut the apple juice amount in 1/2 and add water to cut the sweetness of the tea and it is still wonderful. I make this in gallon quantities and it lives in my fridge during the summer. I rotate between this and a Green Tea lemonade variety off of one from Starbucks! It is all to Ina's credit that we drink tea this way. THANK YOU INA!

It was really refreshing. The red tea is hibiscus peppermint tea- great on it's own with a little fresh ginger, by the way. I liked it, but wouldn't make it quite the way it is mentioned. The lemon tea really gave it too strong of a twinge for me- it was that "cleaner" smell/taste people described. I think it tastes the way you would imagine pinesol to. I made it with 6 bags of red tea, 1 bag of lemon tea. When I steep the bags I add a little sugar in the raw and a few slices of fresh ginger and it was awesome. It also really matters which apple juice you add in it. Don't add an apple juice you wouldn't drink on its' own. Overall though- what a neat idea to add apple juice.

I have to make a double batch of this stuff every time - it goes too quickly.
